Social Media Management is a skill set requiring experience, spot on time management, and visionary capabilities bundled with clear concise and intelligible writing ability. Hire a media manager who is literate and who wont damage your brand. Clearly in today's world the line between text etiquette and proper grammar has not only been crossed, but in many cases the line has been erased all together.  Does the person you have representing your brand know the difference between your and you're; better yet, do they even care? It is not acceptable to short cut EVERYTHING just to be trendy and get to the point. Not everything needs to be 140 characters or less. Clearly, knowing the difference as well as knowing when and when not to be over/under 140 characters is key to any successful media campaign. Yes, shorter is sweeter and getting to the point is essential but ignorance is still unacceptable.
